Keeping The Game Safe, Fair And Fun

Why should you become an AYSO Referee? We need you. We can't have games without referees. If you want to help, while having the flexibility of volunteering only a few weekends, or every game you get a chance to, this is the place for you. Refereeing is a great way to get involved, even if your children are not currently playing! It is also a great way to get some exercise, and it can be a lot of fun!

Becoming a referee takes a few simple steps:


1.Create a Sports Connect Portal and sign up as a Referee under the Volunteer tab.
2. Complete the short Safe Haven course at https://www.aysotraining.org
3. Complete the Basic Referee course at https://www.aysotraining.org
4. Attend an in-person referee class that lasts a few hours, only taking one morning or afternoon of your time.
